Welcome to the Commonwealth Arts

Mission Statement

To create a series of annual festivals which will provide a major platform for and increase public awareness of the rich and varied cultural heritage of the countries of The Commonwealth.

Plan

The festivals will be a major projection of the Commonwealth arts and Culture, featuring music, dance, theatre and cinema. Painting, sculpture, literature, photography, crafts, costume and fashion would be represented in associated exhibitions, workshops, lectures, readings and master classes.

Funding and Benefits

It is proposed to seek funding for the festivals from the Commonwealth governments and institutions, private sector industry and commerce.
The major benefits to respective governments are to place on a world platform their diverse heritage, artistic excellence, and cultural identities.
There would be associated benefits in education, skill development and tourism.

Private sector companies can gain the following benefits from sponsoring any of our events:

  • Public affirmation of a commitment to diversity and equality;
  • Unique and innovative association, as part of corporate social responsibility, with specific art forms in Commonwealth coun tries, for example, through scholarships and master classes, visiting professorships and traditional arts support.
